What is a Teddy Bear Picnic?
The idea of a teddy bear picnic is believed to come from the song by the same name. This song features a melody by American composer John Walter Bratton, written in 1907, and lyrics by Irish songwriter Jimmy Kennedy in 1932. It has been recorded numerous times as a children’s song.
You can find many different YouTube videos of the teddy bear picnic song, but this one is our favorite. It’s a short and sweet video version with fun animation.
